Special # 33 Zuidam Genever Oloroso Moscatel cask

Our standard Old Genever recipe fermented from equal parts Corn, Rye and Malted Barley. Distilled Three times in pot stills. Then aged in gorgeous casks that have previously held Oloroso Sherry and Moscatel sherry. After maturation we combine the genever from both cask types to create this fresh but complex genever.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Explicitly fruity. Fresh and full of spice notes and above all honey and citrus supported by delicate Floral notes. Given time delicate flavors of vanilla, honey and green apples develop

Taste: complex fruit and floral aromas. Elegant fruit notes with lots of green orchard fruit like apples and pears. This is followed by fresh oranges and vanilla. 

Finish: Medium long with gentle notes of fresh orchard fruit honey and fresh lemons
